The Trouble of Color: An American Family Memoir with Martha S. Jones

Join us for an in-person lecture with Martha S. Jones, JD, PhD, and enjoy an in-depth conversation surrounding her newest publication, The Trouble of Color: An American Family Memoir. Dr. Jones shares conversation with Elgin Klugh, PhD, President of the Laurel Cemetery Memorial Project and professor at Coppin State University, on the processes and importance of genealogical research and family history. This panel is moderated by Judge Wanda Keyes Heard, MCHC Board of Trustees.

Doors open at 5:30 pm. Lecture begins at 6 pm. Light reception to follow.
