Bombardment of Fort McHenry

Description

View from Whetstone Point of the bombardment of Fort McHenry. Smoke and flames and an American flag are seen at an encampment behind the fort at left. Numerous British vessels are grouped in the center of harbor. Four soldiers are seen at lower left. Fort Babcock and Fort Covington can be seen at the right.
