Letter from Charles Dickens to John B. Morris

Description

Letter from Charles Dickens to John B. Morris, acknowledging receipt of a copy of "The Monuments of Washington's Patriotism" that Morris had sent him. Dickens wrote the note while staying at Barnum's Hotel in Baltimore, and the note is pasted onto the inside of a book cover (possibly the volume referenced in the letter).
