Tureen

Description

Silver covered tureen standing atop an ovular pedestal. Decorated with a beaded border on base and lip of lid. Two handles are made in the form of serpents with two snake heads and the figured of a bearded man on appearing on either side. This tureen was one of an identical pair that was split up upon Dobbin's death and recently reunited in the MCHC collection.
