Uniform

Description

World War I Uniform belonging to Jessup More Milstead (1893-1974). Uniform includes one wool field jacket (2015.3.1) with two overseas service chevrons, one honorable discharge chevron, and a 79th Division patch, and one pair of wool service breeches (2015.3.2). Collection also includes a Service Medallion - 312th Machine Gun Battalion Company D (2015.3.3) and a wool overseas cap with Honorable Discharge chevrons (2015.3.4), two wool puttees (2015.3.5a-b), a campaign Medal for Muesse Argonne Defense Sector (2015.3.6), and lastly a 1917 National Army Collar Disk (2015.3.7). Jessup More Milstead, from Charles City, Maryland, served with Company D 312th from June 20, 1918 to June 9, 1919.
