Dress

Description

Green cotton wrap-tie halter dress made by Townley Clothes and designed by Claire McCardell (1905-1958). One single piece of fabric extends from one side of the waist around the neck to the other side of the waist. The shape of the garment is given by the bunching of the fabric created by the effect of two waist ties.
