Description

Shot silk taffeta carriage or visiting dress worn by Anne “Annie” Campbell Gordon Thomas (1819–1886).The bodice comprises changeable lavender & gold silk taffeta with lavender satin trim, separate collar, cuffs attached, and bust with large pads. Also features an under skirt of same with silk fringe trim, bustle overskirt of same, and matching belt with back bow.
