Pelisse

Description

Green silk pelisse worn by Eliza Eichelberger Ridgely (1803-1867). Its distinguishing features include a silk braid cord with metal tassels, high collar, double-puffed sleeves, and silk appliqued "Vandyke"-style embellishments.
