Construction of Loch Raven dam

Description

A view of the construction of the Loch Raven dam which eventually created Loch Raven Reservoir, a large reservoir lake in Baltimore County, Maryland. The construction, taking place from 1912-1914, was part of an effort to increase municipal water supply and provide potable drinking water to Baltimore City and Baltimore County.
