Description

Orange and silver lurex maxi dress with belt and large fold-down collar with lapels. Worn by Llewellyn Elizabeth Lurz Albert (1912-2003). Albert was born in Baltimore on Federal Street and baptized at St. James the Less Church. Her mother was born in Westphalia, Germany, and her father, although born in Baltimore, was a first generation American born to German parents who hailed from Merkershausen, Bavaria.
