Description

An East Baltimore Monumental Temperance Society ribbon. The ribbon has an eagle with the United States motto "e pluribus unum" at the top, the society name in the center, and the date of the society's formation at the bottom, February 10th, 1841.

This organized temperance club appears to have only existed for a few months during 1841. They held several meetings and participated in at least one parade during this time.
