My First Baltimore Block

Description

From creator Mimi Dietrich: “This block has all the elements of appliqué to get students started on a Baltimore Album Quilt. If you can stitch stems, leaves, flowers, circles, and dimensional buds, you can apply these techniques to other designs and begin to stitch a larger quilt. I love to teach this block and let students experiment with fabrics and color as they complete a small project.”
