Sampler

Description

Child's sewing sampler featuring a central house surrounded by flora and fauna and four lines of text each above and below the design. Outside of the interior geometric border is a line of letters and numbers, which is surrounded by an exterior border of a floral vine. Signed at the bottom, "Mary Schley, her Sampler made Ano 1788."
