Quilt

Description

A Baltimore album quilt by Rachel Meyer Walter, a Bavarian immigrant who came to America in 1839. The quilt features plain and printed cottons, wool, and silk embroidery; it has scalloped edges, a center square depicting a large urn full of flowers, and other floral and leaf imagery throughout.
