Forest leaves

Description

Book of poetry written by suffragist, abolitionist, and teacher Frances Ellen Watkins Harper. Harper was born free in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1825, and Forest Leaves marked her first published literary foray. It was followed by additional poetry collections, several novels, and essay collections.
