Perry Hall, Slave Quarters with Field Hands at Work

The small building seen in this detail is the slave quarters at the estate of Harry Dorsey Gough, Perry Hall. Workmen, both black and white, labor in the fields, overseen by a man in a high hat who may be Gough himself.
