Wi-Tabano-Xure (Walking with daylight aka “War Eagle”)

Description

Bust-length three-quarter view portrait Wi-Tabano-Xure, or Walking with daylight, who was also known as War Eagle. He wears a shell necklace over a vest and has his hair tied in two wrapped braids falling on his chest. Two large feathers rise up from behind his head as he looks off to the side of the picture plane.
