Description

Architectural plan for the proposed design of the U.S. Capitol Building made for the U.S. Capitol Drawing Competition held in 1792. The drawing features the front façade of a building with a central protruding entrance topped by a pediment and flanked by wings on both sides. The bottom half of the drawing shows the corresponding floor plan for the second floor of the building.
