Description

Metal, paper, and celluloid 1904 presidential campaign button of President Theodore Roosevelt (1858-1919) with U.S. Senator from Indiana, and candidate for vice president, Charles W. Fairbanks (1852-1918), made by Torsch & Franz Button Co. (1903-c.1958) of Baltimore, Maryland. The republican ticket defeated democrat Alton B. Parker and were inaugurated in March 1905.
