Le Prince Imperial (The Prince Imperial and His Dog)

Description

Bronze sculpture in the round of the Imperial Prince Napoléon Eugène Louis John Joseph Bonaparte (1856–1879) as a child with his hand resting on the head of the dog sitting at his side. The prince adopts a contrapposto stance with his head turned towards his right. The two figures stand upon a square base.
