Planned Giving

The Legacy Circle

The Maryland Center for History and Culture is built on the legacy of many generous donors. The Legacy Circle is composed of friends of the MCHC who make an impact on our mission beyond their lifetimes by including us in their estate plans. You can be a part of this tradition by joining this committed group and helping ensure that future generations continue to experience Maryland’s unique history.

Planned Giving Options

Two easy options are available to make the Maryland Center for History and Culture part of your estate plan:

  • A provision in a will
  • Naming the Maryland Center for History and Culture as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy

You may also consider a Charitable Remainder Unitrust (CRUT). This option provides an income stream to you, or another named beneficiary, while offering significant tax benefits, and provides the MCHC with long-term support.

Have you already made us part of your plans? Please let us know! There is no obligation to disclose the details of your plans; Legacy Circle members may be listed as “anonymous” if desired. We would simply like the chance to say “thank you” and ensure you stay connected with us.
