$300 reward for Hanson Marshall and Peter Snowden

Description

Broadside advertising a three-hundred dollar reward for the capture of enslaved men Hanson Marshall and Peter Snowden who escaped from the Dorsey farm in Elkridge, Anne Arundel County, Maryland, in May 1827 in search of their freedom. The notice is signed by one of the men's enslavers, Richard Dorsey of Baltimore, Maryland.
