A. Hoen & Co. building fire

Description

A view of the fire at the A. Hoen & Company building located at 300-316 East Lexington Street in Baltimore, Maryland. Firefighters work to extinguish the blaze while spectators observe. Water towers are pouring water onto the building, the street is covered in hose, and smoke fills the sky. The building was heavily damaged in the fire and in 1902 the lithography company moved to Biddle Street.
