Anna Maria Cohen Minis (Mrs. Abram Minis)

Description

Hand-colored photograph on porcelain portrait drawing of Anna Maria Cohen Minis (Mrs. Abram Minis) (1863-1891), ca. 1880-1890, by and unknown artist. Anna was born in Baltimore to Israel Cohen (1820-1873) and Cecilia Eliza Levy Cohen (1830-1916). In 1890, she married Abram Minis (1859-1939), of Savannah, Georgia. Anna moved to Savannah after their marriage, but died the following year at the young age of 28. She is buried in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Savannah, Georgia.
