Description

Seascape featuring six sailing vessels and two rowboats all pointing towards the center of the composition, where an American flag flying above Fort McHenry is visible in the background. Golden clouds comprise the sky and are reflected in the water below. This painting was created as a study for the "Bombardment of Baltimore" mural at the Augusta Building and Loan Association, located at 420 N. Howard Street in Baltimore, Maryland.
