Cathedral Tower

Description

Framed pastel on paper featuring part of the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. painted by Clara Isabel Cox Schofield (1868-1958). Schofield was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and became the wife of Admiral Frank Herman Schofield. She studied painting in Paris in the 1890s and exhibited at the Paris Salon in 1896.
