Concert hall at Peabody Institute

Description

A modern photographic print made from a glass plate negative showing the Miriam A. Friedberg Concert Hall located at the Peabody Institute in Baltimore, Maryland. A 1904 Hutchings organ and grand piano are visible on the stage. Founded in 1857, Peabody is the oldest conservatory in the United States and in 1977 it became affiliated with Johns Hopkins University.
