Cutlass

Description

Infantry officer's sword Used by Captain John Owings (1736-1810), Company A, 36th Regiment, Maryland Militia, Hampstead Hill, September 1814. Long single-edged blade has slight curve. Sword has ivory hilt and steel handguard.
