Downtown Baltimore and Inner Harbor

Description

Looking northwest from the north side of the Federal Hill neighborhood across the Inner Harbor at downtown Baltimore, Maryland. The tall spired building visible in the right background is the Hearst Tower Building, which stood at the southeast corner of East Baltimore and South Streets from 1911 to 1986 and housed the editorial and business offices of the "Baltimore News-American." Also visible at right is the dome of Baltimore's City Hall and freight cars stationed on Pratt Street Pier 3.
