Gwynns Falls

Description

A view of snow-covered rocks in the Gwynns Falls, a 24.9 mile-long stream located in the southwestern part of Baltimore County and Baltimore City, Maryland. The stream begins in Reisterstown, Maryland, and flows southeast into Baltimore City, where it empties into the Middle Branch of the Patapsco River. Named for Richard Gwinn, who opened a trading post along it in the 1600s, the Gwynns Falls does not contain any actual waterfalls.
