Immigration waiting area at Locust Point

Description

A waiting area for immigrants at the immigration pier in the Locust Point area of Baltimore, Maryland. Immigrants were required to wait here, as they were not allowed to leave the pier unless directly boarding a designated train. A sign on the wall behind them has "No smoking" written in three languages: English, German, and Polish.
