Loudoun County Courthouse, Leesburg, Virginia

Description

This drawing features a courthouse with a portico, gabled roof, and a steeple. A fence is sketched in ink wash to the left of the composition. Built in 1811, the courthouse was the site of a small skirmish during the Civil War and was replaced around 1888.
