Neiman Marcus store display

Description

Display of fashion designer Claire McCardell's (1905-1958) clothing designs at a Neiman Marcus department store. This display was part of an exhibit entitled "A twenty year retrospective exhibition of Claire McCardell clothes, 1933 - 1953." Born in Frederick, Maryland, McCardell pioneered the creation of casual, comfortable American sportswear for women.
