North and front elevation of old house at Guilford from south side of Lambeth Street about 250 feet east of Greenway

Description

North (front) elevation of the Guilford mansion – the former country seat of the Abell family in north Baltimore – as seen from the south side of modern-day Lambeth Road, about 250 feet east of Greenway. The house was demolished soon after this photograph was taken and its site incorporated into the Guilford neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland developed by the Roland Park Company.
