Description

Pitcher of coin silver made by Philadelphia silversmiths Fletcher & Gardiner (1812-1817). Part of a $4,000 52-piece service presented to Commodore John Rodgers (1772-1838) on the 3rd anniversary of the bombardment of Fort McHenry and the Battle of North Point, 1814. Inscription on bottom.
