Daguerreotype portrait of Elizabeth Brown Edmands Caswell (1817-1880), daughter of Thomas Edmands of Newton, Massachusetts. In 1835, she became the second wife of Alexis Seaver Caswell (1799-1877), of Providence, Rhode Island.
