Daguerreotype portrait of Elizabeth Todhunter Thomas (1825-1899) in calling costume, circa 1840-1845. Elizabeth was the daughter of Joseph Todhunter of Baltimore. In 1835, she married Evan Philip Thomas (1806-), who was employed in the Baltimore hardware business. Their children were: Philip William (1842-1861); Isabella Kate Todhunter (1844-1887), married Edwin Goodwin Sythe; and Josephine (1848-1886).
