A native of New Jersey, she married Isaac Corriell in 1832 and the couple were parents to: Alvin (1833-1836); Mary Ellen (1838-1926), married Lewis Bower; Catherine Ann (1840-1868); and Alvin (1843-1904), married Mary Lawrence. The family moved to Baltimore in the 1850s.
