Portrait of Jacob and Elizabeth Yeisley

Description

Daguerreotype portrait of Jacob Yeisley (1822-1895) and his wife, Elizabeth L. Sprenger (1824-1916), both Pennsylvania natives. Jacob Yeisley was a carpenter and contractor in Baltimore, and served as an elder in the Second Presbyterian Church. Jacob and Elizabeth were parents to: George Conrad (1849-1929), married Catherine Bushnell Graul; Mary Elizabeth (1850-1905), married George Glanville Rusk; Anna Katherine (1853-1945), married William Senner; and Emma Augusta (1860-1952).
