Description

Daguerreotype portrait of Josephine Dunlap Mahon (1850-1878), daughter of Robert Dunlap of Hagerstown and his wife, Martha. In 1876, she married Robert Wright Mahon (1852-1915), eldest son of Dr. Ormsby S. Mahon (1825-1894) by his first marriage to Elizabeth Ellen Wright (1827-1852). Josephine died on January 20, 1878, shortly after the birth of a daughter, Josephine Dunlap Mahon (1878-1936).
