Daguerreotype portrait of sisters Mary Ellen Coriell (1847-1926) and Catherine Ann Coriell (1840-1868). They were the daughters of Isaac Coriell (1809-1882), a Baltimore contractor and native of New Jersey. Catherine Ann died at the age of 20, having never married. Mary Ellen married Lewis Bower in 1862.
