Portrait of Zipporah Auld (nee Wilson) (1775-1849). Auld and her husband, Hugh Auld, Sr. (1767-1820), had nine children, including Thomas Auld and Hugh Auld, Jr. who were known for their enslavement of Frederick Douglass (1818-1895).
