Rifle

Description

1853 Enfield Rifled Musket with a socket bayonet, engraved 37 488, attached to the end. Made by Potts & Hunt of England. The rifle belonged to one of the Moffett brothers (Edwin W. or William H.) of the 8th Maryland Volunteer Infantry Regiment during the Civil War.
