Steamship ‘Louise’ in the Inner Harbor

Description

View of the "Louise," a sidewheel passenger steamship, owned by the Tolchester Steamboat Company. The decks of the ship are filled with passengers. The "Louise" was one of the most popular excursion steamers on the Chesapeake Bay and could hold 2,500 people. The company ran daily excursion steamships from its pier at Light Street in Baltimore, Maryland, to the Tolchester Beach Amusement Park in Kent County.
