Stereoview photograph of people in Monument Square of Baltimore, Maryland, on May 19, 1870 celebrating the passage of the 15th Amendment, which gave African American men the right to vote. The images show a parade crowd gathered at the Battle Monument on Calvert Street, between Fayette and Lexington Streets. The celebratory parade began in Fells Point and concluded at Monument Square.
