Birth, marriage, and death records of the Joshua Stewart family of Ferndale, Anne Arundel County, Maryland. The son of Ebenezer Stewart (1754-1814) and Susannah Caples Stewart (1756-1826), Joshua Stewart (1790-1873) married Caroline Cromwell (1796-1879) and they had 10 children. These genealogical notes also include records of families related to the Stewarts and entries for prominent people of Anne Arundel and Baltimore counties. The last two pages list the birth and death dates of the children of Cass Watters (d.1848), an enslaved individual on Joshua Stewart's farm.
