The Pye Homestead

Description

Landscape in gilt frame featuring the Pye family homestead, driveway, and trees. The Pye family in southern Maryland dates back to the 1680s. This site was greatly visited by Washingtonians during the Civil War and was a major stop for commerce during the 1800s.
