Accessibility

We Want to Make Your Visit Easy

Building Entrances

Our two main entrances are wheelchair accessible. One entrance is located in the Meyerhoff Courtyard off of Park Avenue and the other entrance is accessible from the parking lot off of. Monument Street. Elevators are available to access each floor of the building that is open to the public. A limited number of wheelchairs is available, free of charge, at the Visitor Services Desk.

Parking

Free parking is available onsite on a first come, first served basis, with several spaces designated for accessible parking immediately outside the parking lot entrance at 201 W. Monument Street. Ample parking is typically available unless we are hosting a large program.

Service Animals

All service dogs that meet American Disabilities Act guidelines are welcome. Please check in at the Visitor Services Desk upon arrival.

Programs and Tours

If you are bringing a group and need special accessibility accommodations, contact Museum Learning Manager Alex Lothstein at alothstein@mdhistory.org. We are happy to accommodate your group as best we can.
