Oakley, Baltimore, Maryland on Thanksgiving Day

Description

Four men, four women, and one child stand on or near the front porch of the Oakley home on Thanksgiving Day 1889. Oakley, located in Baltimore County, was the home of the Reverend Doctor Franklin Wilson (1822-1896) who was a Baptist clergyman. The handwritten note on the front of the print states: "Thanksgiving Day 1889 - Group at front porch, F.W.- V.A.W.- F.H.W- E.D.A.- A.S.W.- M.W.W.- M.V.W.- G.B.T. & J.C.T."
