Saint Peter’s Protestant Episcopal Church

Description

Exterior view of St. Peter's Protestant Episcopal Church located at the southeast corner of Hopkins and German (now Redwood) Streets in Baltimore, Maryland. It was erected in 1803 and consecrated a year later by Bishop Claggett. In 1868, the congregation moved from this downtown location to the northwest section of the city and built a new church at the corner of Druid Hill Avenue and Lanvale Street. It consolidated with Grace Church, located at Park Avenue and Monument Street, in 1912.
